Serial to USB FTDI Adapter

• High EMI Rejection: using this special Serial-USB cable type provides a High EMI Rejection compared with other USB-only based DAQs which are prone to disconnections from even their own power supplies or from the ignition (CDI) signals.
• FTDI chip is installed close the USB connector, this avoids disconnections compared with typical USB adaptors in which the cable drives USB signals (silver shielded cable)
• FTDI-based adapters are the most compatible devices in Windows for serial port connection to PCs

*Do not use adapters in which all circuitry is installed at DB9 side, they are more prone to disconnections.
